I’m worried about a friend or family member – what should I do?
Talk to them
Sometimes, a listening ear can make a world of difference. Prevent is all about having conversations, so by listening and offering a safe, non-judgemental space you could help stop radicalisation and ultimately terrorism in its tracks.

Report extremist material online
Extremist material isn’t always violent or disturbing images involving weapons and harm to another person, it could just be a quote that talks about extreme or radical beliefs. If you see something you think is extremist material either on social media or on the internet – Report it.
